7th WFN Annual Youth Recreation Charity Golf Tournament

Greetings, community members, colleagues and friends.  

Last year’s tournament was a huge success! We sold out the tournament and we were glad to send everyone home with great gifts and prizes. All of the proceeds from this event will be going to help with youth and recreational initiatives for Westbank First Nation. None of this would have been possible without the tremendous outpouring of support we have received from our community and friends. We are thankful for your support and want to once again extend the invite to you to be a part of this worthwhile initiative. Your help with our event will mean its success and so the success of our young people. Youth continue to be one of WFN’s top priorities. We believe in building healthy youth to create the foundation of a healthy community. We provide programming such as traditional and cultural training, numerous youth programs, a WFN Youth Leadership Council and various recreational programs. Proceeds have been used to purchase a 2015 Chevrolet 3500 Express Passenger Van for WFN Youth programming and now we are planning an Outdoor Cultural Kitchen adjacent to our new Youth Facility.

There are many ways you can get involved with donations, sponsorship and registration. Sponsors, for your generosity, we will display your company logo, recognize your contributions at the tournament and in our materials.

We expect many great prizes, “celebrity” golfers and a fun filled afternoon. Last year, the tournament filled quickly, so register soon! Your time and consideration is appreciated.
